Chris teaches classical guitar, steel string acoustic, and electric guitar in his spacious home studio in Cheadle Hulme. He teaches children from as young as six, through to adults of all ages. It really is never too late to learn!
He prepares pupils wishing to take examinations up to Grade 8 level, and his pupil's have an outstanding track record in examination success.

BIOGRAPHY
I am an experienced performer and guitar teacher.
I studied classical guitar for several years under the renowned international guitarist, Raymond Burley. I have extensive performance experience and, in addition to solo and duet performances, I was a member of the Heversham Jazzmen - a highly popular dance band that performed throughout the North West - and the Mondrian Guitar Quartet. I am currently a member of the English Guitar Orchestra.
I have a wealth of experience playing at weddings and functions. Prior to becoming a full time guitar teacher in 2009, I taught guitar throughout my adult life, in tandem with my non-musical profession. In addition to teaching privately at my home studio in Cheadle Hulme, I also teach in several schools in Greater Manchester. I enter pupils for guitar exams and have an outstanding track record. I have wide and varied musical tastes including a passion for blues and heavy rock music. I am a Member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors.
